By creating the account or accessing Firmus Connect (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”), our privacy policy and any additional guidelines or policies provided by Firmus Connect. By using this platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before registering or using our services. Depending on the service you choose, there may be other terms that govern your relationship with Firmus Connect in union with these terms. The word “Firmus Connect”, “We” and “Our” refer to www.myfirmusconnect.com and “Platform” to materials displayed on www.myfirmusconnect.com The Platform is owned and operated by Firmus Connect. “User” means any individual or legal entity of private law or public law, registered on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform will be deemed as acceptance of these terms by you.
Use of Platform by Candidate
Browse & Apply internships
You may browse and apply for internship opportunities listed on the platform.
Submit Data
You agree to submit and update application materials (e.g. resumes, cover letter).
No Internship Guarantee
You understand that applying does not guarantee internship placement
Premium Services Upgrade
You may request to upgrade to get a hold of intern premium services such as coaching, trainings etc. for 200 cedis annually
Use of Platform by Employer
Post Internships
You may post internship opportunities, view student applications and contact suitable candidates
Submit Data
You agree to provide accurate and lawful job descriptions and company information.
Don't Charge Candidates
You agree NOT to charge students for application, selection or internship placement
Due Diligence
You may browse to request for a candidate verification (due diligence).
Prohibition
- Use the platform for any illegal or unethical purposes.
- Post misleading, fraudulent, or inappropriate content.
- Impersonate any person, entity, or organization.
- Collect data from other users without their consent.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- All files delivered to Us or uploaded on the Platform must be free of infection or viruses.
- You must not release to the public any advertising material, promotional material, or any other form of publicity relating to Firmus Connect without Our prior written approval.
Content Ownership and Responsibility
- All content submitted by users (e.g., resumes, job posts) remain their property.
- Firmus Connect reserves the right to moderate, remove, or disable access to content that violates these Terms or Our policies.
- We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted content.
Disclaimer of warrants
- We do not guarantee internship placement or candidate hiring.
- We do not perform background checks or verify the legitimacy of all employers or students, even though we may conduct basic screening.
- Firmus Connect operates on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Limitation of Liability
- Firmus Connect shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
- Any disputes between students and employers.
- Any errors in your advertisements. Employers must check internship advertisements for errors as soon as they are placed on the Platform.
Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct.
- You may also deactivate your account at any time.
